Welcome to Olive Grove Dining

Meet Tim, our founder & head chef

Tim moved to Glasgow in 2018 where he developed a love for cooking away from home. Studying chemical engineering at the time, he was fascinated by the science behind what makes food taste good.

Tim began catering for large groups while spending two years working in his church. He quickly realised people loved his food, he had all the skills required to cater large events, and setting up a private dining business was a real possibility!

In 2025, after spending time working as a chef in a kitchen learning the tricks of the trade, Tim set up Olive Grove Dining with the aim to bring people joy through gathering around quality food.

Why choose us?

(1) Quality ingredients

At Olive Grove Dining, we believe in using high quality local ingredients. No mass-produced meat, or harmful chemicals added to your food. All meat and fish is from local Glasgow butchers and fishmongers, and, where possible, fruit & veg is from the veg shop down the road.

(2) Homemade with care

Everything we serve is freshly homemade - no corners cut. In cooking, it's doing all the little things well that results in quality food.

(3) Bespoke menus

We pride ourselves in coming up with bespoke menus to suit the customer. Yes, good food is good food, but, it's best when it's also exactly the right fit for the occasion. We have menus to choose from but are always happy to cook new things - it's one of the things we love most about cooking!

Where do we work?

We are based in the west end of Glasgow, and primarily service the greater Glasgow area for one-off events - anywhere within about 1 hour from Glasgow.

For residential stays we are happy to travel all across Scotland and beyond.

If your event is further afield, don't hesitate to get in touch - the worst we can say is no!
